Custom Executive Search, Inc. is seeking a passionate and experienced Construction Recruiter to join our growing team! With 25 years of service to the Construction industry and working with a client base to match we are committed to delivering high-quality candidates and building strong relationships with our clients and partners.
About the Role:
As a remote Construction Recruiter, you will play a critical role in identifying and connecting with top talent across various construction disciplines including Vice presidents, Project Managers, Estimators, RE Developers, RE Development Associates, Superintendents, Tenant Coordinators, Construction Accountants, Assistant Project Managers, Architects etc. You will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates, as well as managing the entire recruitment process from start to finish.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to identify and attract qualified candidates for open positions.
Utilize various sourcing channels to identify qualified candidates, including job boards, professional networks, and industry events.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in our Applicant Tracking Systems.
Establish and maintain strong professional relationships with current and prospective clients.
Create job announcements that list requirements for each job, such as desired work experience, education, and job skills.
Screen resumes and conduct interviews to assess candidate qualifications and suitability.
Coordinate scheduling and logistics for in-person interviews with clients’ hiring managers.
Facilitate the selection process by conducting reference checks.
Maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and other stakeholders.
Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in the construction/development recruitment spaces.
Analyze recruitment data and metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in construction recruitment (preferred).
Strong understanding of the construction industry and its various disciplines.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proven ability to source, screen, and interview candidates effectively.
Proficient in using various recruitment tools and technologies.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Passion for the construction & development industries and a desire to build long-term relationships.
